Grieving Through the Holidays: Free Virtual Grief Support Program

The holiday season can be especially challenging for those grieving the loss of a loved one. From family gatherings to familiar traditions, the holidays can bring reminders of those who are no longer with us.

The Cancer Support Center invites anyone experiencing loss to Grieving Through the Holidays , a free virtual program on Monday, November 23, from 5–6 PM .

Led by Jason Kieffer, LCPC, Clinical Program Director at the Cancer Support Center , this program will offer an opportunity for learning, discussion, and connection while exploring ways to navigate grief amid the activities and expectations of the holiday season.

Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, this program offers a supportive space to acknowledge your grief and connect with others who understand.

This program is free and open to anyone experiencing grief from any loss, not just cancer-related loss.

For more than 30 years, we’ve provided compassionate support to individuals and families impacted by cancer, including those coping with the loss of a loved one. Grief is an important part of the support we provide, and we recognize that the need for connection and understanding extends beyond a cancer diagnosis. Through programs like Grieving Through the Holidays , we hope to offer that same sense of support to anyone experiencing loss, regardless of the circumstances.
