About this event
Build an app that closes a real service gap on the the South Side and in the south suburbs. The build covers legal and civic tech, finance, housing, transit, health, and education. Attendees form a team, pick a problem seen in the community, build a working app with Claude, and pitch it to the judges. The program is free, requires no coding experience, and is open to college students aged 18 and older who register with a college email at luma.com/claude-5azp . 25 spots are reserved for SSC students, and registration is first come, first served! Register by Wednesday, November 4. Every participant receives $100 in Claude API credits, the top three teams win prizes, and the experience includes breakfast, lunch, volunteer mentors, and a live DJ. This is an exciting opportunity to explore artificial intelligence, develop new skills, and connect with others interested in the future of AI. Inquiries can be sent to inquiries@janellacurtis.com .
