About this event

Step back in time and discover the story of Camp Good Fellow. Hear from local historian, Serena Ard as she shares the camp’s rich history and its impact on families throughout Northwest Indiana.

A background of our partners:

Serena Ard was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, graduating from Lake Central High School in St. John. She taught English and history in Texas and North Carolina before earning her M.A. in U.S. History with a concentration in Museum Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She has been curator at the Westchester Township History Museum in Chesterton for 14 years, and during that time she has done extensive research into the history of the dunes, the state and national parks, the Bailly family, and other local topics.
